* Teeth in a day refers to your procedure when extractions are done if needed implants placed and any temporary prosthesis placed for two arches. When we say teeth in a day could take six to 12 months this is based on average wait of 3 to 4 months for implants to heal, then 6 to 8 visits to fabricate prosthesis. Time frames at different offices will vary. This is what we mean many times after completing a complimentary exam and not all patients will qualify, many patients at D5 centers can receive permanent zirconia teeth in 1 week from date of surgery. When we say the D5 can change your life we mean if having an unattractive smile affects you or you have broken or decayed teeth causing you discomfort this is how it can change your life. It means nothing else. When we say teeth in 24-48 hours to 1 week, we mean in almost all cases. This only refers to qualified patients based on a full examination and radiographs, not all patients will qualify. D5 Ultra Express Centers are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists. The American Dental Association does not recognize any specialty field specifically for dental implant treatment. D5 Ultra Express providers are proficient in both oral & maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry and may consist of general dentists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, and periodontists. The D5 Ultra Express procedure refers to a procedure consisting of extractions (if needed), bone reduction, implant placement, and a permanent (nano ceramic or zirconia) implant-supported prosthesis placed on either arch (upper or lower), or both. D5 Ultra Express dental providers utilize the immediate occlusal-loading protocol, defined as an implant supported restoration in occlusal contact within 2 weeks of the implant insertion. The D5 Ultra Express procedure, and “permanent teeth in 24 hours or 1 week”, can be offered to qualified patients based on a full examination, radiographs, and initial work up. Not all patients will qualify. In most cases, qualified patients that do not need additional sinus augmentation (which can result in additional fees) can have the D5 Ultra Express procedure completed and receive a final nano ceramic prosthesis within 48 hours after extractions. Patients who choose D5 Ultra Express zirconia option typically will receive a provisional prosthesis 48 hours after surgery that will assist the patient with functionality until their final zirconia prosthesis is fabricated. Results and time-frames of the delivery of a final prosthesis will vary on a case-by-case basis. The implant system utilized by D5 Ultra Express is properly registered, listed, and has a 510(k) clearance from the FDA. After many years of clinical studies and evaluations, the success rate of modern dental implants installed by qualified clinicians has been estimated at over 90% after 10 years. With proper hygiene and routine maintenance, the D5 Ultra Express procedure can provide patients with dental implants than can last at least 25 years and possibly a lifetime. The average lifespan of the prostheses will vary depending on which material a patient chooses. Studies show that patients treated with implant-supported prostheses judge their overall psychological health as improved by 80%—due to increased longevity, improved function, and increased bone preservation—over the wearing of traditional dentures. Studies also conclude that the replacement of decaying teeth that are prone to infection with an implant supported prosthesis will typically result in the improvement of a patient’s overall physical health. Results may vary.
D5 Implant Centers are locally owned and operated by licensed dentists in their respective states and are part of a professional affiliation of implant centers operated by restorative dentists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, and periodontists located in various offices in the United States. A majority of D5 patients after a complimentary exam, qualify for the 7 day process to receive permanent zirconia teeth. Disclaimer for expedited teeth process: This is our protocol for expedited teeth and time-frames. When we say in as little as 7 days and now in as little as 4 days for many get permanent teeth, we mean from surgery. Our goal is to give patients exceptional restorations with stunning aesthetics and precision fits. One of the key protocols of our procedure is a preview of your new smile within 18 hours of your surgery with a 3D printed custom mock-up of your new teeth. If this mock-up is acceptable to patient and doctor for many with our 24/7 lab, we work day and night and for many, 2 days later final permanent teeth are inserted. If patient looks at custom interim teeth and decides to make substantial changes to the anatomy, size or length of teeth, we will redesign that night and have a complete new set of interim teeth within 18 hours for patient to inspect. D5teeth, because of the ease of digitally designing and printing interim teeth never wants to make permanent teeth for patients without them seeing visually what they're going to receive. We want no surprises which can cause a patient to be disappointed in the final appearance of their permanent teeth. So, if a second or third try-in is needed, our lab from that point will spend 2 days and night fabricating final permanent teeth which would mean 2 days is added to the procedure for fabrication based on the final try-in as approved by the patient.
